If you still feel like there is 'life in the old body' - then you aren't alone! You may be a regular in your gym, on the golf course, attendee at spin class or you may not have taken part in fitness for years, but want to get back into shape and have some fun doing it at the same time.
We are about TEAM SPORTS, the ones you use to play many years ago but given them up since you are 'too old' and nobody plays them at your age! We want to change that and welcome all ranges of fitness and skill levels from complete beginner who has not taken part in sport for years to the person who left league standard just a few years ago... Whatever your reason, your abilities, gender and your skill levels you will find a home at Life in The Old Dogs.
We create a fun, safe and thoroughly enjoyable environment to play team sports at your pace with you in mind alongside like minded people.
Not played a sport in years? - no problem.
Feel like you are not fit to play? - you will soon improve if you start!
Don't want to embarrass yourself?- you won't, we only laugh together.
You will be amazed at how quickly you step back into or learn the sport. You will soon recall how much fun it is to play team sports again. Nobody will win a medal, but you will definitely go home with the widest smile!
You may be fully retired, semi retired or in full time work but want to take time out to meet others and join in on some friendly, competitive sport.
You must be 50 plus although we don't expect you to provide proof! Ideally you are 'gym fit' or similar and active. You certainly aren't a full time athlete, but someone who misses team sports, teamwork and having a good laugh before, during and certainly after the game.
